About Me

Hello and welcome to my site! I’m Nicole, a passionate Kindergarten teacher with over 15 years of experience across various grade levels. However, my heart truly belongs to Kindergarten.

My Teaching Philosophy:

I am dedicated to creating an easy-to-set-up, yet engaging, play-based classroom. I prefer routines and patterns that allow for seamless theme changes throughout the year, ensuring my students always know how to play and engage with the materials. This approach not only keeps the classroom dynamic but also allows for consistent learning experiences that cater to my students’ needs and interests.

A Little About Me:

In addition to being a teacher, I am also a mom of two preteens/teenagers and a wife. Outside of teaching, I am a yoga enthusiast, travel enthusiast, and a TpT author. A few years ago, my family and I self-converted a Sprinter van into a mini motorhome, adding another exciting dimension to our lives.

I believe that education should be tailored to each child’s unique needs, and I strive to create a classroom environment that fosters kindness, empathy, and social-emotional learning. These values are foundational in building a strong classroom community where every student feels valued and supported.
